It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Doy Pledger of Coweta, Oklahoma, born in Altus, Arkansas, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arville and Jewel Pledger (Phillips); his siblings, James Dow Pledger and Polly Ann Russell; and his great grandchild Hunter James Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Pledger; his children, Rick Pledger of Wyandotte, Oklahoma and Rhonda Bush of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Daniel Pledger, Audra Rose (Cody), Brent Terry (Ashley), Courtney Terry and Taylor King (Bear); his great grandchildren, Mattie, Kenzie Rose, Domanic Pledger, Ethan, Ashten and Lily Terry; and his niece Vicki Dunn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
