She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Abbott and Edith Abbott; her husband Emmitt Read; her brother Bill Abbott; and her son Ray Justus.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary; and her grandchildren, Jamie, Kyle, Jennifer, Matthew, Cassie, Allison, Robert, Heather, Randy, Steve, Stephanie and Stacey. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the Rose Chapel at Floral Haven.
Mary worked for the Gatesway Foundation most of her life.
