She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel D. Guss (Murphy) and Earl W. Guss; and her brother Robert Earl Guss. She is survived by: her husband David Lloyd Bowers; her sister Barbara James; and her children, Carol Jean Foster and Tommy Bowers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
