He was predeceased by: his mother Claudia Ann Davis; his stepmother Faye Runnels; and his brother Lonnie Ray Runnels, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Natalie Ann Phillips (David) of Coweta, Oklahoma; his father John Runnels, Jr. of Coweta, Oklahoma; his granddaughter Abby Phillips of Coweta, Oklahoma; his siblings, Ruth Leanna Shepherd (Runnels) of Catoosa, Sandy Wheat (Mike) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Roy Ward (Nancy) of Coweta, Oklahoma; his sister-in-law Joyce Runnels; his nieces and nephews, Lonny, Amanda Runnels of Porter, Terry, Kayla Runnels of Coweta, Chad Runnels of Coweta, Jonathon, Jessica Shepherd of Owasso and Jerry Ray Shepherd of Catoosa, Oklahoma; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Wyatt Runnels, Lane Runnels, Justin Shephard, Kimber Jo Runnels and Katherine Shephard.
