He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Pearl (Spurgeon) and Thomas Ralph Stone Sr.; his son Dr. Brett Eugene Stone; and his siblings, Alma Stone Vaught, Ralph Thomas Stone, Bobbie Ruth Deerinwater, Kenneth Lee Stone and Bill D. Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Stone; and his son Steven Alan Stone. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
