With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Poindexter Montanes of Coweta, Oklahoma, born in Bakersfield, California, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Colby and Patricia Ann Poindexter (Edwards); her husband Mark A. Montanes; and her brother-in-law Michael Smith. She is survived by: her son Marco; her grandson Marcos II; her siblings, Richard (Vicki Poindexter) of Frisco, TX, Alice Smith and Ann (Brent Stafford) of Weleetka; her nephews, Colby, Chris Poindexter, Aaron (Carolina) and Sean Harris (Brynna); her niece Cassi Poindexter; her great-nephew Nolan Harris; and her great-nieces, Anna and Murphy Jo Harris.
