He was predeceased by: his parents, W. C. Collins and Jewel Collins (Hill); his brother Jerry Collins; his siblings-in-law, Ellen Collins, Alberta Nelson, Archie Dee Crabtree, Norman Hager, Lee Roy Jones, Burl Overmon, Burt Nelson and Curt Nelson; and his niece Jerrie Dean Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jack; his daughter Carla; his son-in-law Greg Holland (Slick) of Wainwright; his son Clay Collins of Council Hill; his granddaughter Aundrea; his grandson-in-law Jesse Getson of Denver, Colorado; his sisters, Nina Overmon of Checotah, Sue Crabtree of Henryetta and Nila Jean Jones of Hitchita; and his sister-in-law Sharon Nelson of Bakersfield, California. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
