It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donn Carter of Council Hill, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 30, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Chenoweth and Ruby Chenoweth (Shaw); his daughter Freda Mae Chenoweth; and his son-in-law Mack Henricks. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Carter (Warren); and his children, Julie Ann Graham of Oktaha, Oklahoma, Connie Teter (Mike) of Garnett, Kansas, Genia Henricks (Richard) of Ottawa, Kansas, Janice Henricks of Ottawa, Kansas, Preston Charles Chenoweth (Debbie) of Aktins, Arkansas, Thomas Eugene West (Karen) of Osage City, Kansas, Abbigail Shideler (Ralph) of Phoenix, Arizona and Ruby Anne Miller of Topeka, Kansas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
