She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Vernon and Elvie Vernon (Emberlin); her husband Edwin Brooks; her son Timmy Dee Brooks; and her siblings, Danny Vernon and Pat Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Edwina Pottor (Randall) of Fort Cobb, Mark Brooks of Duke and Lisa Patterson (Steve) of Minco. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hinton Turner Funeral Home Chapel (123 Park St, Hinton, OK 73047).
