She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Lohrenz and Helena Lohrenz (Hiebert); her husband LaVern Nickel; her daughter Sonya Flaming (Nickel); her granddaughter Breawna Nickel; and her siblings, Norman "Bud", Gene, Dickey, Anita, Betty, Marlena, Lorraine and Wanda.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff (Lisa) of Corn and Tim (Arleta) of Corn; her son-in-law Jim Flaming of Hobart; her brother-in-law Rocky Decker of Enid, OK; her grandchildren, Bethanie Slagell (Joseph) of Hydro, OK and Bryce Nickel (Anna) of Corn, OK.; and her great grandchildren, Elim, Tabitha, Caleb and Havilah Slagell. She is also survived by friends, especially her grandchildren and later great grandchildren.
