He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Schmidt and Marie G. Schmidt (Gaddert); his brothers, Bennie Schmidt and Raymond Schmidt; his sister-in-law Bonnie Schmidt; and his son-in-law Mike Bryan.
He is survived by: his wife Elma Eileen Stine; and his children, Ron Schmidt (Dianna Williams) of Guthrie, OK, Dwight Schmidt (Tina) of Blanchard, OK and Eileen Bryan of Yukon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (8701 Northwest Expy, Oklahoma City, OK 73162). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
