She was predeceased by: her mother Lillian Bishop; her husband Ed Fields; and her brother John Bell. She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Matthews; her son-in-law Richard Matthews of Stroud Oklahoma; her granddaughter Melinda Colton; her great grandchildren, Conner, Kimberly, Dominic and Brooklyn of Ohio; her sisters, Joy Knapp of Perkins and Darlene Shiplett of Glencoe; and her half-sister Alvina.
