It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Scott of Copan, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Dean Edwards and Bessie Priscilla Edwards (Bricker); and her brother Carl Edwards (Dean). She is survived by: her husband John Scott; her children, Stanley David Scott (Stan), Pamela Renah Scott (Pam) and Jeffery Allen Scott (Jeff); her friend Susie Elkins; her sister-in-law Leona Edwards; her children, Stan Scott (Donna) of Caney, Jeff Scott (Silvia) of Leoti, KS and Pam Brown (Gary) of Wann; her brother William H. Edwards (Leona) of Dewey; her grandchildren, Travis Scott (Sara), Clayton Scott (Chelsea), Justin Brown (Jennifer), Clinton Brown (Katelyn), Shawn Miyahara (Michael), Tivoli Ann Scott, Codi Matney (Jerry) and Cheyenne (Adam Holmes); her stepgrandchildren, Coben Hawkins, Braxton Jean Hawkins, Jackson and Sierra Matney; and her great grandchildren, Tyge, Cash, Jaggar Brown, Claire, Ellie, Zeke Brown, Gatlin, Vivienne Scott, Stockton, Blazelee Scott, Lace Holmes and Micah Miyahara. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
