Joe Gordon Branstetter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Gordon Branstetter of Copan, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Young "Pete" and Sylvia Branstetter (Clark); and his siblings, Dan, Bill Branstetter, Cricket Chastain and Dovie Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Troy Branstetter (Karla), Kelli Blevins (Barry), Justin Branstetter (Angi), Patty Underhill (Larry), Tera Bryant and Yvonne Ogden (Scott); his siblings, Patsy Moore, Dorothy Murrie, Joyce Ann Swan, Syb Raney, Janie Price, Stephen Branstetter and Diana Miller; his grandchildren, Brooklyn (Dakota), Owen, Evan, Brady of Tatum, BJ, Louis, Jacob, Alex and Andy; and his great grandchild Charlotte.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davis Family Funeral Home - Dewey Chapel (113 S Osage Ave, Dewey, OK 74029). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dewey First Baptist Church (300 E 10th St, Dewey, OK 74029).
