He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hester and Agnes Hester (Stanart); his wife Beverly Alspach; and his siblings, Smith Hester, Wheeler Hester, Cecil Hester, Melvina Lane, Christina McGrew and Shirley Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Peal (Jerry) of Copan, Danny Hester (Marie) of Goose Creek, S. C. and Mark Hester (Tammie) of Grove, OK. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
