It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billy Joe Bennett of Copan, Oklahoma, born in Ochelata, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bennett and Ollie Ethel Bennett (Philpot); and his siblings, Roy, Ray and Norma.

He is survived by: his wife Cherryl Boothe. He is also survived by six children, many grandchildren and four nieces and five nephews.
