He is survived by: his wife Mary Wade; his son James Russell Owen; his stepson Clinton Phillips; and his siblings, Ted Owen (Rita) of Texas, Frank Owen (Sherry) and Faye Swan (Lewis) of Copan. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
