It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matt Gordan Phillips of Connerville, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Erle Wright and Margaret Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Shannon Phillips; his children, Kristen Phillips and Shane Phillips; his grandchildren, Madison Phillips, Matt, Treston, Baylor, Cooper Dixon, Kelly Jo, Finley Brown, Casey, Harper, Quincy, Tripp Doris, Chelsea, Emmy and Brady Hull; and his sister Angie Barron (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Home (305 E Main St, Tishomingo, OK 73460). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Hospital in Matt's name.
