He was predeceased by: his mother Elnora Billington; and his siblings, Eleanor Jean Payton, Leonard "Snuffy" Smith, Charles Smith and Freddie Ray Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Beasley (Henry), Kari Watson (David), Traci Simmons (Harold) and Jan McCollum (Mike); his sister Carolyn Donelson; and his grandchildren, Brittany Chadwell, Brooke Seiger, Rachel Beasley, Preston Gibbs, Colton Simmons, Quincy Garner, Tate Simmons, Macie Gibbs, Harold E. Simmons and Heather Jennings.
