He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hodge and Estelle Hodge (Atkins); and his daughter Sara Sawyers. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Hodge of Fairland, Amanda Hodge of Commerce, Michelle Redben (Austin) of Miami and Jamie Walden (Christopher) of Claremore; and his siblings, Tony Hodge and Vicki Carter (Rick) of Baxter Springs. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
