It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garland L. Wood of Commerce, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 29, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wood and Charlotte Wood (Large); his wife Rheta Wood; his children, Garland "Buddy" Wood, Jr. and Katherine Washburn; and his siblings, Leroy Wood, Bob Wood, Betty Little and Laveda Powers.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Dyson (Ona) of Chanute, KS, Terry Wood (Lisa) of North Miami, OK, Randy Wood of Commerce, OK and Rebecca Tooley of Redding, CA; and his brother Larry Gene Wood of Commerce, OK. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
