It is with great sadness that we announce the death of El Freda Burgess of Commerce, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orbray Cogburn and Helen Cogburn (Crawford); and her siblings, Thelma Myers and Robert Cogburn. She is survived by: her husband Dan Burgess; her children, DeLloyd "Yogi" Burgess of Commerce, OK, Darrell Burgess (Terri) of Miami, OK, David Burgess (Angie) of Miami, OK and Danetta Ranger (Warren) of Afton, OK; and her siblings, Norman Cogburn of Marble City, OK, David Copeland of Marble City, OK and Evelyn Megah of Sallisaw, OK. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
