He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry F. Hurst and Beulah Mae Hurst (Shawgo); and his siblings, Harold Wayne Hurst, Barbara Louise Hurst and Sue Benedict.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Dawn Hurst (Kathryn Jansen) of Tulsa, OK and Shauna Kay Glazier (Will) of Commerce, OK; and his sister Cheryl Blankenship Ramirez of Quapaw, OK..
