She was predeceased by: her parents, Zeke Lawson and Susie Cavel Lawson; and her close friend Rudene Smethers. She is survived by: her children, Ferne, Fred, Merle, Earnest, Howard, Jesse Eugene Akerman and Jo Nell Thomas Snider (Tommy W. Snider); her daughter-in-law Jimmie Sue Akerman; and her grandchildren, Tammy, Jason, Sean, Samantha, Krystal, Pepper, Richard, Brandi, Billy, Dwayne, Austin, Nicole, Felicia and JC. She is also survived by 23 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
