He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey William and Laura Genieva Hess; and his siblings, Verda Helen Mallory, Velma Jo Shelton, Dorothy Elizabeth Duncan, Donna Sue Neely, Marjorie Faye Metcalf, Loretta Hess, Robert Neil Hess and Leon Dean Hess.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda (Michael Cuzzort) of Comanche, Sandy (Matt Steadman) of Blanchard and Mickey (Shelley Haslip) of Bokoshe; his grandchildren, Wesley Allan (Kristen Sheppard, Amanda), Peyton (Roy Ramsey, Justin), Sean (Amanda Steadman) and Hunter (Amber Haslip); his brothers, Richard Eugene Hess and William Joseph Hess; and his close friend Joe Haslip.
