He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Rochell and Lamenteen Rochell (Whitaker); and his sister Mildred Williams. He is survived by: his wife Donna Lue Rochell; his children, Darla Jean Rochell of Palestine and Doyce Wayne Rochell of Comanche, Oklahoma; his siblings, Royce Rochell, Mable "Babe" Biffle and Joyce Bohannan; and his granddaughter Carissa Billingsley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
