He was predeceased by: his parents, W. E. "Tom" Strawn and Alma Strawn; his wife Joan Woody; his son Billy Strawn Jr.; his siblings, J. T. Strawn, Edward Strawn, Irene Stewart and Alene Nelson; his niece Vicki Davis; and his nephews, Jack Mauldin and Bob Mauldin.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy, Pagon Ballard and Peggy Strawn; his grandchildren, Sarah, Robert Vazquez, Diane, Howard Boss, Morgan and Matt McGinley; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Boss, Emily Boss and Robby Vazquez; and his sister Florence Strawn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whitt Funeral Home (4748 US-81, Duncan, OK 73533). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Western Heights Baptist Church (2305 W Beech Ave, Duncan, OK 73533). A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the TBD Duncan Municipal Cemetery (1910 W Cypress Ave, Duncan, OK 73533).
