We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2019, at the age of 76, Alma Jane Brakefield (Comanche, Oklahoma), born in Duncan, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Duke and Virginia Duke (Rolston); her husband Thomas L Brakefield; and her siblings, David Duke, Kenneth Duke, Danny Duke and Joan Skrogstad.
She is survived by: her children, Trenten Lee Brakefield, Anita J. Whelpley of Yukon and Steve Brakefield of Comanche, Oklahoma; her siblings, Eddie Duke of Broken Arrow, OK and Jearee Coone of Moresville; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan Brakefield, Jared Whelpely, Joy Toppan and Dawn Prebey. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and many nieces nephews and friends.
The family has asked that memorial donations be made to the St Jude Children's Hospital at 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
