She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Edwards and Nellie Edwards (Lester); her son Ronnie Simmons; and her brothers, Robert, Donald, David, Lynn and Jimmy.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Simmons (Teresa) and Penny Cothran (Scooter); and her siblings, Johnny, Tommy, Walter, Dori and Susie. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren.
