He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence William and Malta Govottie Caves (Owen); and his siblings, Clarence Caves, Marqueta Faught and Marie Besser.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Vance Thomas; his children, Kathy Wood (Clifton) of Bixby, Loren Caves (Cindy) and Sue Ann Sills (Tim) of Collinsville, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Johnathan Caves (Bryanne), Thomas Wood (Victoria), Andrew Wood (Courtney), Stuart Wood (Allison), Nick Sills, Brittany Conner and Molly Tillman (Malcolm); and his great grandchildren, Evalynn, Remington, Magnolia, Conner and Chloe. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woodland Cemetery Chapel.
