It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Dean of Coleman, Oklahoma, born in Milburn, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Olen and Fannie Gertrude Dean (West); his wife Dora Mae Workman; his daughter Sherry Estep Simpson; his brother Jesse Dean; and his niece Katie Palmer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Nail (John) of Denison, Nancy Vincent (Ben) of Denison and Tammy Gibson of Denison, Texas; his grandchildren, Brian Estep (Gwen) of Cartwright, Bradley Estep (Iris) of Austin, John Palmer of Denison, Logan Nail (Shannon) of Denison, Kalli Nuncio (Roy) of Denison, Sara Donihoo (Tanner) of Princeton, Ashley Logan (Michael) of Gunter, Jordan Gibson (Ashley) of Denison, Connor Gibson, Berlynn Yates of Sherman and Tristan Gibson (Kayla) of Durant, Oklahoma; and his great grandchildren, Avi, Jack, Billy, Bella, Brandon, Liam, Mila, Ryan, Jacob, Cruz, Hunter, Ryder, Sophie, Luke and Ian. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
