He is survived by: his children, Sandra Simmons (Larry) of Hendrix, Oklahoma and Jeff Franklin (Nicole) of Denison, Texas; his grandchildren, Breanna Simmons, Alex Simmons (Katherine), Victoria Simmons, Luke Simmons, Braylon Franklin, Jayde Franklin and Carson Tomlinson; his sister Rosa Lee Sane (Jerry) of Tennessee; the mother of his children Barbara Gaither of Denison; his niece Cheryl Shelton of North Carolina; and his nephew Mark Franklin of Tennessee.
