It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oleta L Smith (Colbert, Oklahoma), born in Caney, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 9, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Daily and Deenie Daily; and her sister Myrna Gordon. She is survived by: her sons, Keith Emerson (Sandy) of Calera, OK and Doyne Emerson (Virginia) of Denton, TX; her brother Don Daily of Carrollton, TX; her grandchildren, Khayla O'Brien of Durant, OK, Khara Emerson of Durant, OK, Kimberly, Gary Neely of Coleman, OK and Justin Emerson of Denton, TX; and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Karter O'Brien of Durant, OK, Alexia Peters of Durant, OK, Darion, Loxi and Garrett Neely of Coleman, OK. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends.
