It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Durst (Colbert, Oklahoma), born in Durant, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 9, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Allen Bailey; her parents, Edith Marie Ashley and Lubie Marvin Ashley; her sisters, Maxine Ash, Martha Goggans and Melba Grove; her son-in-law Jerry Thomas Laney; her niece Barbara Ann Owens (Higgins); and her nephew Troy Gentry.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Kay Laney (Peables), James David Peables Jr. (Joe) and Marvin Perry Peables (Hoss). She is also survived by four step-children.
