He is survived by: his son Joe Elbert Hopkins (Maggie Winnett Hopkins); his wife Madeline Hopkins; his children, Richard Hopkins (Tonie) of Colbert, OK and Cindy Carter (Jeff) of Calera, OK; his stepchildren, David Ellison (Frankie) of San Antonio, TX and Sharon Blotok; his sisters, Beverly Clountz of Allen, TX and Norma Trammell (Neil) of Palo Pinto, TX; and his brother-in-law Bill James of Uvalde, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
