She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Davis and Lena Davis (Emmons); her husband Robert Merritt; her son Jimmy Merritt; her siblings, Jesse Eugene Davis and Ira Davis; and her grandchildren, Justin Coates, Sherry Broughton and Summer Burke.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Coates (Dwight) of Caney, OK, Lucille Broughton (Doyal) of Caney, OK, Alice Hunt (Jesse) of Atoka, OK, Robert Simpson (Sheryl) of Caney, OK and David Merritt; and her sisters, Thelma Woolf of Tushka, OK and Edna Sheffield of Lane, OK. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren.
