He was predeceased by: his parents, George William and Bertha Chaney (McColloch); and his wife Betty Chaney. He is survived by: his former wife Alvera Spicer; his children, Rick Chaney (Kristi) of Coalgate, OK and Geneva Chaney of Edmond, OK; his grandsons, Glenn Chaney of Edmond, OK and Garrett Chaney (Candace) of Dewey, OK.; his great grandchildren, Charlie and Rett Chaney of Dewey, OK.; his stepchildren, Matthew Reifsnider (Usha) of Whittney, England, Dave Reifsnider of Ada, OK., Vickie Reifsnider (Steve Walker) of Ada, OK and Ronnea Reifsnider; his sisters, Betty Condray (Paul) and Mary Postier (CJ); and his brother-in-law Charles Ward (Geneva).
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Family Night Brown's Funeral Chapel (400 W Queen Ave, Coalgate, OK 74538). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (822 N 2nd St, Vinita, OK 74301).
