It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erma Dean Tankersley in Coalgate, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 23, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Byrum and Myrtie Byrum (Adair); and her nieces and nephews, Valerie Ray of Washington State, Beverly Cochran (Scott), Gayla Byrum, Paula Marton (Tony), David Ray (Janet) of Atoka, OK and Steve Connelly (Linda) of Portales.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joyce Connelly of Artesia and Dale Byrum; her sister-in-law Barbara Byrum; and her sister Elma Ray.
