He is survived by: his wife Carol Beeson; his children, Darrell Lynn Melton, Jr. (Ashley) of Sentinel, Melissa Gamez of Oklahoma City, Robin Beeson of Mustang, Gina Shelton (Donald) of Mangum, Krissy Shelton (Larry) of Coalgate and Hannah Sweeting (Kevin Duke) of Snyder; his siblings, Bobby Melton of Snyder, Earl Melton of Mountain Park, Gary Melton of Purvis, Dale Remy (Aimee) of Weatherford, Becky Goldman (Jack) of Frederick, Sharon Ray (Tony) of Mountain Park and Linda Marie Ryan of Parker; his siblings-in-law, Tammy Lambert (Ronnie), Debbie Campbell (Eddie), Burt Burden (Peggy), Carl Burden (Vickie), Lee Burden, Johnny Burden (Billye) and Richard Powell; and his grandchildren, Mason Dempsey, Jayden Melton, Gavin Beeson, Kason, Laryn, Dalyn Shelton, Bryson, Sean Shelton, Alice Long, Lillyann, Emma, Adalynn Melton, Adrianna, Bristan Gamez, Reese, Rylan Beeson, Lainey and Paisley Beeson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
