He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Thomas and Easle Thomas (Thompson); his wife LaVerne Thomas; his stepmother Annie Thomas; his sons, Mark Thomas and Stacy Thomas; and his brothers, Ernest Thomas, Leon Thomas, Eugene Thomas and Ronald Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Thomas-Duvall. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
