He was predeceased by: his children, Ramiro Torres and Genoveva Torres; and his siblings, Manuel Torres, Eloisa, Sofia and Teresa.
He is survived by: his wife Elisa Najera Cardenas; his children, Jesus Torres (Sonia), Carlos Torres (Consuelo), Rogelio Torres (Mini), Miguel Torres, Oscar Torres and Blanca Miller (Johnnie); and his siblings, Vicente Torres and Lucina Torres. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
