She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl "Charlie" and Elizabeth Horst (Schmidt); her husband Bill A. Dewees; her son Randall Dewees; and her siblings, Aaron Horst, Karl Horst Jr., Raymond Horst, Martha Depel (Horst), Angelina Beck (Horst), Bertha Bourquin (Horst), Alma Bourquin (Horst), Reinhold Horst, Calvin Horst, Amiel Horst, Samuel Horst, Moses Horst, Benjamin Horst and Jonathan Horst.

She is survived by: her children, Beverly Summerford (Duncan), Camille Stewart (Mark) and Kent Dewees (Beth) of Clinton; and her daughter-in-law Linda Dewees. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
