He was predeceased by: his parent Cecil Thompson; his wife Patty Cryer; and his brothers, Terry Thompson and Roger Thompson. He is survived by: his mother Claudie Thompson (Brown); his children, Kristy Thompson, Kortney Thompson, Chauntelle Thompson, Matt of Clinton, Chris of Clinton and Ernie Thompson of Clinton; and his sister Brenda Hindbaugh of Clinton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and numerous foster children.
