He was predeceased by: his parents, I. J. Loewen and Nina Loewen (Wallerstedt); and his brother Don J. Loewen. He is survived by: his wife Cary; and his sons, Ken of Vancouver, WA, Ric of Woodland Park, CO and Ed of Woodbridge, VA. He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
