She was predeceased by: her parents, Menno Johnson and Mina Johnson (Smith) of Bessie, OK.; her stepmother Ethel Grimma Johnson; her siblings, Novice Jewel Kirschner, Maureen "Mickey" Guthrie, Doris Johnson, Maurice "Bill" Johnson and A. B. Johnson; her stepsons, Clay McLean and Harry McLean; and her niece Jeannie Estes.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Annette McLean of Raleigh, NC; her sister Alva Jean Merritt of Sapulpa, OK; her nieces and nephews, Ann Brown of Clinton, OK, Helen Vowell, Karen Viator, Denise Maggart, Cheryl Lauder, Judi Miller, Kellee, Kent Merritt of Sapulpa, OK, Steven Guthrie, Guaymas, Mexico and John Johnson; and her cousins, Maxine Page and B. J. Brown.
Family has suggested memorials may be made to the Bessie Fire Department which is housed in the building in Bessie where she grew up.
