He is survived by: his wife Theda Whiteman; his children, Leah Littlehawk, Yvonne Benton (Floyd Blackbear), Oliver Whitecrow, Clinton and Brandon Benton, Sr.; and his nephews, Albert Anuario and Clinton. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
