He was predeceased by: his parents, Fermon Odra McPhetridge and Myrtle Letha McPhetridge (Sisco); his wife Maxine McPhetridge; his children, Chris McPhetridge, Colin McPhetridge and Renee McPhetridge; his grandson David Whited; and his siblings, Jack, Pete, Gene McPhetridge, Faye Richardson and Lorece Harris.
He is survived by: his spouse Gloria Maxine Choate; his grandchildren, Nathan McPhetridge of McAlester, Jeramy McPhetridge (Kathryn) of Texas, Kelly McPhetridge of California, Karen McCormick (Ryan) of California and Gracie McPhetridge of Oklahoma City; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Sarah, Lauren, Caleb, Hannah and Amethyst; and his brother Morris "Butch" McPhetridge of California. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.
