He was predeceased by: his parents, Augusta Tom Ladd Jr. and Lila Mae Hicks Ladd; his grandparents, Andrew W., Mamie Hicks (Kingsborough), Augusta Tom Sr. and Lola Vaughn Ladd; his siblings, Sharron Ladd and Tommy Ladd; his close friend Gloria Mattern; his granddaughter Emily Herman; his great grandchild Jedidiah Brant; and his great-nephew Glenn Dale Godsey II.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Mattern; his sisters, Carla Suitor and Carolyn Bradley; his daughter Michelle Soverns (Bryan); his granddaughters, Katie Brant (Mark), Rebecca Reid-Diaz (Xavier) and Madison Soverns; his great grandchildren, Kassadi Brant, Xander Reid-Diaz and Declan Reid-Diaz; his nieces and nephews, Frances Altman (Charlie), Lee Harmon (Christie), Tommy Ladd II (Lori), Bobby Suitor (Rhonda) and Micaela Marquez (Joel); his friend Kathy Kingore; and also Robert Bryan. He is also survived by his family, a hero to his daughter and grandchildren.
