He was predeceased by: his parents, Newman Helm and Nannabelle Helm (Roland); and his stepmother Elvie Helm (Barbara Helm). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Margaret Steinjann; his sons, Doug Helm, Jr. (Heather) of Tulsa and Tom Helm (Lou) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, David Helm, Matthew Helm, Kaitlyn Jones, Mary Helm, Ryan Helm and Joshua Helm; and his great grandchildren, Kiera Helm, Ellie Jones and Genevieve Helm. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
