He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thompson and Ida Mae Thompson (Adams); and his granddaughter Hannah Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Lee Dildine; his children, Kim Strate, Kelly Danner (Tim), Greg Billen (Suzanne) and Kandi Sinclair (Ralph Casteel); his brother Charles Thompson; and his grandchildren, Tim Bolt (Janell), Patrick Danner (Jillian), Heather Hodshire (B. J.), Matthew Danner (McKalyn), Maggie Gwinn (Dillon), Brittney Sparks (Nick), Kamryn Andrews, Beau Ballard, Chelsea Caughlin (Aaron) and Samuel Sinclair. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
